My name is Tara Bird and I’m a senior at Brigham Young University majoring in Public Health   Education. One thing I’ve noticed in my health and nutrition classes is the amount of responses   and complaints about how hard it is to eat nutritious/healthy meals at college (even among my public health peers!). We are all busy with homework, cramming, part-time/full-time jobs, staying up late with a significant other, working out, sports teams, or anything else we put our minds too.

I’m here promoting the idea that eating well isn’t as hard as it appears. I would say the main concern of college students is that they feel like they lack the creativity and skills required to make a meal that is healthy and tastes good on a small budget.
